Community Groups is the primary means of relational discipleship at Grace Auburn Church. Our church family consists of people of all ages and life stages, from around the world, centering our lives around the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are more than friends, we are a community of saints and sinners who know we need Jesus. Community groups are a vital part of our church life because they provide a context for us to care for and serve one another in love, “to bear one another’s burdens so fulfill the law of Christ” (Gal. 6:2).
Community groups can also become “missional outposts” - places where those who have left the church, or who have never followed Jesus, can taste and see what it looks like to come under the loving reign of Jesus. We have witnessed people come to saving faith in Christ and come back to the church through the love and witness experienced in groups.
Most of our community groups meet twice a month in the homes of host families. Group meetings include time for fellowship, prayer, and the study of God’s Word.
